Introducing Snaps 101 | Beginner Photography Workshop Markham

I am very excited to be finally posting about this! I have always wanted to share my photography knowledge with my local community and now I can! This is a beginners class to help you take better snaps of your kids (or anything else that interests you) and finally understand the fundamentals of using Manual.

I am looking for interested women to host a workshop for herself and 5 of her closest friends. Of course, men are more than welcome and you also do not need to be a mom.  The class is 3hrs in length with time afterwards for a QA period. Everyone will receive a booklet of carefully prepared handouts to take home with them. The workshop cost is $60 however every participant will receive a $50 gift certificate for a photography session with Slice of Life Photography so essentially the course will only run you $10! The host will also get something a little extra:)

So, if you have a camera  and if you always wanted to learn just a little more about how to use it, this is a class for you!

Aaaand we’re back! | Markham Portrait Photographer

Wow that was a long hiatus! But, Slice of Life Photography is back and better than ever! In the next few weeks you I will be rolling out some new things to all of my fans and I hope you will be just as excited as I am.  I’d like to start by introducing you to my new blogsite complete with a new logo! I got away with my website + blog because I felt a blogsite would be a more streamlined way for fans to keep up with what is going on with me and my photography. I hope you like it.

And to remind you, the reason for my downtime– Joanna. She’s not quite ready to make an appearance on the blog yet. But her first birthday is coming in a few weeks and I will be doing a long feature on her. Here’s a little teaser. :P

Officially on Maternity Leave | Markham Photographer

02.16.11

**Update: This post is old:)I am no longer on maternity leave and I am taking sessions! Contact me if you are interested!*** Hello friends! I wanted to let you all know that I will be on maternity leave for the next little while. Yes, I was pregnant and yes I had a baby. I know I kept it my little secret but not intentionally, I swear. Joanna Christina was born December 17th, 2010 and has been a gift to our family. Even her big brother agrees.

I will not be booking any more sessions while I am on leave but will be doing limited work such as charity sessions. I will make sure to let you all know when my grand re-opening is! I have some great ideas for the future so keep in touch.

I will also post here and there to let you know about my life and what I am doing. Stay tuned for some pictures of my new little girl!
